Copy Editor
Copy editors are tasked with proofing stories for grammatical errors, organizational problems and adherence to AP style. They are also responsible for writing effective headlines and cutlines to accompany stories and photos.
Position: Paid and unpaid
This position requires:
- The ability to work two late nights a week
- Strong grammatical skills
- A basic knowledge of AP style
- Ability to write effective headlines
